December is drawing to a close, marking the end of a year and the start of a new beginning in 2024. Throughout 2023, many K-pop artists have released numerous bops, which fans will always be grateful for, and the month of December isn't spared.

1. 'BORN TO BE' by ITZY
On December 17, ITZY released their second Korean full album "BORN TO BE" with the title track of the same name.
The song makes way for ITZY's concept development, from the cheeky teen crush, to being the most extravagant fourth-gen girl group to release a hard-hitting bop this 2023.
Aside from "BORN TO BE," the album also contains B-side tracks containing the members' solos, such as "UNTOUCHABLE," "Mr. Vampire," "Dynamite," "Escalator," "Crown on My Head" (Yeji), "Blossom" (Lia), "Run Away" (Ryujin), "Mine" (Chaeryoung), and "Yet, but" (Yuna).
2. 'Soñar (Breaker)' by NMIXX
"Soñar (Breaker)" is a pre-release track from NMIXX's upcoming second mini album "Fe3O4: BREAK," which will be released on January 15, 2024. The song was released on December 4.
3. 'Crazy Form' by ATEEZ
On December 1, ATEEZ officially released their second full-length album "THE WORLD EP. FIN: WILL" and its title track "Crazy Form."
4. 'I want to be closer to you; by YUKIKA
Yukika opened the month with both exciting and sad news. The one and only "City Pop" queen released her album "Time-Lapse" and title track "I want to be closer to you" on December 1.
Afterwards, the singer announced that she would now be retiring from the K-pop industry, making "Time-Lapse" her final album. Since the album was previously made by Yukika, the sad news didn't stop fandom Yumiz from enjoying and treasuring her music.
5. 'Down' by TVXQ
TVXQ released "Down" on December 3, which is the pre-release track of their upcoming ninth Korean full-length album "20&2." The album is slated for December 26, along with its title track "Rebel," so stay tuned for more of TVXQ's exciting music!

STAYC's "LIT" is definitely worth listening to due to its jumpy beat and dazzling instrumental, which was brought to life by the members' vocals, sticky chorus, and quirky choreo. "LIT" is definitely lit and is a must-add to your playlist!
7. 'PINK CHRISTMAS' by Apink
Of course, this list wouldn't be complete without one of K-pop's special releases. To greet Pink Pandas and everyone a Merry Christmas, Apink released their precious "PINK CHRISTMAS" special on December 11, which ignited everyone's spirits for the holidays!
