The "HOW YOU LIKE THAT" singer has taken on a new venture in her career!

On December 24, Jennie took to her official Instagram account and confirmed that she had established her new agency.

According to her post, the idol expressed her gratitude for all the support she has received, followed by an exciting declaration of her plans for the upcoming 2024.

"Hello. This is Jennie.

This 2023, the year was full of many accomplishments. I'm so thankful for all the love I've received. I'm also excited about what's to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA (ODD ATELIER).

Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK.

Thank you."

Korean news outlets also reported that although Jennie confirmed the news on December 24, the idol had already established the company in November.

The company has also established its official website, which is still unavailable due to the heavy amount of visitors according to BLINKs. However, some were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the company's site and post it on social media.

The company introduction read:

"OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is a label founded by artist Jennie in November 2023."

Earlier on December 6, all four BLACKPINK members including Jennie renewed their exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment. The decision was eventually concluded due to the deep trust BLACKPINK and YG Entertainment have had throughout the years.

"After a discussion with the BLACKPINK members, we have decided to renew their exclusive contracts with them to resume their group activities, as this decision was made through trust."

YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk also shared a statement regarding BLACKPINK's contract renewal.

"We are delighted to have BLACKPINK and continue our relationship with them. They will continue their best to shine brighter in the music market to reach a global audience as a K-pop representative of our company."

Meanwhile, BLINKs were supportive of Jennie in the comments. Fans relayed their congratulatory remarks and love to the photos she posted on Instagram.
