NewJeans' Visual Harmony Earns Praise Among Internet Users

An article titled "NewJeans visual harmony" was uploaded to the popular Korean online community forum Nate Pann. There, the author took a deep dive into the visuals of each NewJeans member. When placed together, each members' features compliment one another, leading to their visual harmony.

However, when you look at the members one by one, you can see that they have their own unique points. The author likened the members to works of art that are drawn with different tools.

Minji, the group's oldest member, was praise for her calm, elegant, and classic look. Her cohesive features give her a cute, puppy-like look. Overall, she gives the "unnie next door" look.

Hanni, who is the same age as Minji, gives off a totally different vibe. If Minji looks more mature, Hanni looks like the fake maknae thanks to her round and youthful face. Due to her cute, round cheeks, Hanni looks younger than her co-members.

Danielle was praised for looking like a Disney princess. She is able to serve two different vibes: when she is smiling, she is warm and bright, but when she is expressionless, she can look cold and chic. The author praised Danielle for having a look that is perfect for pictorials.

Haerin, who is famous for her feline-like features, truly gives off cat girl vibes. She is the epitome of a pretty and cool girl. According to the author, Haerin has a face that is destined to succeed and have a good life.

Lastly, maknae Hyein. Many joke that the youngest member of NewJeans has cute features that are reminiscent of a flying squirrel. Hyein is well-loved among international fans due to her thick lips. Despite being the youngest, her visuals are mature and she towers over her members. Because of that, she is able to stand out well amongst the other members.

During their early debut days, NewJeans' concept had them donning similar looks. They all had long, black hair that reached the small of their backs, all had fair skin, and all had the same makeup style. Their unified look is what helped them earn fame.

However, with each comeback, the members' individuality is able to shine more. Many hope to see each member bloom even more as their careers progress.

In 2023, NewJeans release five promotional singles. In April, they released "Zero" in collaboration with Coca-Cola and in May, they released "Be Who You Are (Real Magic)," featuring Jon Batiste, J.I.D, and Camilo.

NewJeans released OSTs for the dramas "A Time Called You" and "My Demon," releasing "Beautiful Restriction" and "Our Night Is More Beautiful Than Your Day," respectively.

In October, NewJeans partnered with Riot Games to launch "Gods" as the theme song for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship. Achieving a milestone at the 2023 MAMA Awards, NewJeans secured Artist of the Year, becoming the first girl group to do so in twelve years and the third in history, following 2NE1 in 2010 and Girls' Generation in 2011.
