This overlapping can only mean more crumbs from the two girl groups, as they thrive as leaders of the fourth-gen. Meanwhile, Winter and Chaewon gradually became hot topics for their similarities in appearances and vibe, sparking numerous forums.

In the K-pop community, fans have consistently discussed how much Winter and Chaewon looked alike in terms of appearance. Winter and Chaewon first made buzz in May, when the two idols did a "Spicy" challenge during their comeback schedules at SBS Inkigayo.

MYs and FEARNOTs were shocked on December 26, when aespa uploaded a video on their official TikTok account, featuring Winter, Karina, alongside LE SSERAFIM members Chaewon and Kazuha doing the "Jingle Bell Rock" challenge, causing a rave in social media. On the same day (December 26), the video caught the attention of netizens, leading to an online forum. While the video was supposed to be the main highlight, the author of the post narrowly focused on Winter and Chaewon's long-lasting debate regarding their similarities in vibe and styling.

The OP uploaded a screenshot from aespa's "Jingle Bell Rock" challenge video and rambled about the people who claimed the two idols looked like doppelgangers.

"They f**king don't look alike at all. Why does everyone keep saying they're doppelgangers until now?" OP remarked.

Fans joined the discussion and disagreed with OP, stating that they only looked alike in terms of styling and not in appearance.
