BLACKPINK Lisa Speculated to Make Acting Debut With 'The Walking Dead'

On December 26, VOGUE Thailand released an article claiming BLACKPINK member Lisa may be joining the filming of "The Walking Dead" series in Paris.

Recently, BLINKs noticed that the official Instagram account of "The Walking Dead" followed Lisa's personal Instagram. Many have taken this small action as good sign that she will be making her acting debut.

If confirmed, she will be the second BLACKPINK member to make her Hollywood acting debut, following the footsteps of Jennie. She will be the third member overall to work as an actress, alongside Jisoo.

Besides the official "The Walking Dead" Instagram account following Lisa, there are other signs that the idol is filming in Paris.

Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon in the series, also followed Lisa's Instagram account. Last November, the two were spotted watching the Paris Saint-Germain vs Newcastle United match in France. The official "The Walking Dead" Instagram account ever shared snapshots of the two at the event.

The idol has gone back and forth from South Korea to France in recent months. Back in September 2023, the idol even performed in the famous cabaret show Crazy Horse.

Currently, it is unconfirmed whether the rumors are true. Earlier this month, YG Entertainment confirmed they re-signed all four BLACKPINK members for group activities. This means that for her solo activities, Lisa is a free agent. Therefore, her solo activities are entirely up to her.

On November 22, 2023, Lisa, along with her fellow band mates, was honored as an Honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by King Charles III at a special investiture ceremony held at Buckingham Palace. The event, attended by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, marked a significant recognition of their achievements.
