However, on X (Twitter), Korean moviegoers expressed their disappointment due to Eunseok's voice acting skills for character Branch, the male protagonist of the "Trolls" franchise.

According to one moviegoer's viral tweet, Eunseok's performance was a "mess" due to the monotonous tone used for the character's various emotions. While Eunseok's voice acting met criticism, Wendy's performance was praised for her delivery, versatility, and energy.

The netizen remarked:

"The troll male lead dubbing, what kind of f**king bas**rd would hire a celebrity to do voice acting? This is the first time I've heard such sh**ty dubbing since the dubbing of 'Your Name.'

While the female lead was also a celebrity, she still did a good job. But the male lead was a mess, and I found it a waste of money.

When the character screams, do exclamatory feelings, sincere proposals, confessions, and serious monologues, it was all done through one tone of voice."
