On January 4, CIX dropped their comeback teaser for member BX. Quickly, the teaser went viral among netizens, who noticed the AI concept.

In the video, BX is seen standing against a red background as he announces their comeback in every language in the world.

When it was dropped, many questioned if the video was AI or not.

Some believed he was reading a prompt, as it appeared he was trying to hold his laughter. He also showed signs of human error, such as rolling his eyes. People believed the video was too human-like for it to be AI.

He messaged fans to confirm that he was not acting and was surprised that the AI was able to fully learn his expressions and voice.

It turns out the company used deepfake technology, and more AI videos of the members will be released in the future. Many wondered if the use of AI was in line with their concept.

Though some were impressed with the concept, others were not as receptive. Many wondered why the group would go so far, while others confessed how scared they were of the future if AI was able to fully learn BX's mannerisms.
