Wendy is an ace in the K-pop industry, and for many K-pop fans aside from the ReVeluv fandom, the idol is also known as the best vocalist in the third-gen. Gleaming with talent and charisma, Wendy has also taken extracurriculars apart from her group activities with Red Velvet.

The "Like Water" singer has done engaging pursuits such as being a DJ at SBS Power FM's "Wendy's Young Street," which she resigned from on June 5, 2023.

In the year 2023 alone, Wendy was included in BLIP's Top 10 busiest idols, with the artist claiming No. 6 with a total of 183 individual schedules, not to mention her group activities. However, an update from Wendy caused concerns among Luvies.

On January 9, an online community was established by fans, who received Wendy's worrying message on DearU Bubble. The author uploaded a screenshot from the app, showing Wendy confessing how stressed she is nowadays, followed by a remark that displayed signs of burnout.

Wendy: "I'm getting a bit stressed lately."

Wendy: "I try to work hard on the things that I'm doing."

Wendy: "But I can't seem to do anything. You know?"

"Her solo is coming out soon. I wonder what happened?" OP captioned.

K-Luvies voiced their concerns and relayed comforting words for the idol. Some stated how Wendy was only communicating her feelings regarding the expectations and pressure of being an artist.
