SISTAR Hyolyn Dishes on Marriage Plans + How Long She's Been Waiting for a Spouse

On December 25, 2023, MMTG uploaded a new video featuring Hyolyn and Bora, who are preparing for their comeback as SISTAR19. This is the duo's first comeback in 11 years.

During the episode, Hyolyn was asked if she planned on getting married anytime soon. The idol confessed that she hasn't given it any special thought.

Despite that, she still dreams of sharing her future with a spouse!

One of the segments showcased host Jaejae asking Hyolyn and Bora a series of yes-or-no questions concerning love. One of the questions the girls were asked was, "In the last three months, I have looked at my love fortune, horscope, tarot readings, etc."

Both girls stated that they did not, with Hyolyn revealing she has never looked at such things. Jaejae then changed the question, asking Hyolyn if she had ever prayed for a spouse.

To this, Hyolyn responded that she has. She clarified further, saying, "You know, I've been praying for a spouse."

Hyolyn then revealed that she has been praying for a spouse ever since she was a teenager. Her mother and grandmother have also prayed that Hyolyn finds a good spouse. This confession sparked laughter from Jaejae.

Jaejae asked if it was recently necessary to pray for over ten years for a spouse. Hyolyn revealed why she has been praying for such a long time, saying, "You should pray for a spouse for a long time! It's not about a specific period of time, but it is important. It is a significant person after all. Because they are the person I will spend my life with."

Jaejae then reiterated that Hyolyn has been praying for a spouse for over 20 years. She acknowledges that praying for such a long time shows a deep desire and yearning for it to come true. Hyolyn then clarifies, saying that though she started praying in her teenage years, she started wishing for it seriously in her late twenties.

She added that she prays for more than just a spouse, but that all her meetings are good and blessed.

SISTAR19 Recent Activities

It was announced on November 16, 2023, that SISTAR19 would return in January 2024. The pair is supposedly set to make an appearance as guests later that month during the taping of JTBC's entertainment show "Knowing Bros." The episode is slated to premiere in January 2024.

The group introduced their new official logo in December. It has the SISTAR19 group name and was created in black and white.

With a teaser that was posted on the third of January, SISTAR19 officially announced their comeback. The teaser showcases the pair's actual silhouettes against a red backdrop, with the words "No More (Ma Boy)" inscribed at the top.
