NSWERs Praise NMIXX for Music Quality in 'Dash': 'It's their best song so far'

NMIXX, is without a doubt, one of the most talented groups in K-pop. Unafraid to carve their musical identity in the industry with signature "MIXX POP," the group has also met mixed reactions along the way for implementing abrupt vibe and genre changeups in their songs.

This dilemma started when NMIXX debuted with "O.O," their first title track that displayed MIXX Pop, which led to polarized opinions from both music critics and fans.

The less-than-favorable reactions were mostly from people who were "confused" or "puzzled" with NMIXX's musical direction and concept.

The discourse was fueled further since NMIXX debuted under one of the "Big 4" agencies, JYP Entertainment, a company known for debuting iconic girl groups such as TWICE, Wonder Girls, ITZY, and miss A. This sparked a slew of doubtful reactions to NMIXX's path as a group.

However, NMIXX eventually managed to turn the tide with their newest song, which received positive reactions in the K-pop community!

On January 15, NMIXX officially released their second mini album "Fe3O4: BREAK" and its title track "Dash."

 

The song quickly reached a thread online, which contained the reactions of NSWERs and K-netz. As for the feedback, netters drew out positive remarks and praised the song for being "tolerable" while being successful in flaunting NMIXX's musical identity.

Netters also added that "Dash" may be NMIXX's best title track so far and complimented them for giving more thought on which title track should be released. Others complimented how the group finally got their signature MIXX pop right in its tracks.
