aespa Karina Rates Herself 7 out 10 — But Why?

On February 6, the YouTube channel, TEO posted the Episode 27 of its web show, "Salon Drip 2," featuring aespa Karina.

On this day, Jang Doyeon who saw the idol walking in the hallway can't help but be amazed at how beautiful Karina is, even comparing her to a doll and a real-life AI.

When they met each other, both were a little bit overwhelmed by each other's presence, but Jang courageously approached Karina and asked the K-pop star to introduce herself.

Karina then replied:

"Hello, I am Karina, 25 years old and living in Samseong-dong. I'm wearing an all-black outfit today and the main point is my Converse."

Looking all so pretty like a human doll, Jang then asked her to give her appearance a rate from 1 to 10 and Karina shyly replied:

"I'm a 7."

Laughing, she explained:

"I don't know. I don't feel like I'm a 10. But I feel like I'm also not a 6. You know it, right?"

Praising for her humble attitude, Jang then jokingly responded to fill the remaining 3 with the Converse shoes she's wearing, a brand to which she's an ambassador for.

aespa Karina Shares Anecdote With 'Prettier' Older Sister

As the conversation went on, aespa Karina then mentioned her relationship with her older siblings as the youngest among them. The idol especially shared an anecdote with her older sister, who is very close to her.

When asked what kind of sister she is, Karina warmly replied:

"She is a nurse. My older sister is the kindest person that I have ever met. I always say, 'There is no one nicer than my older sister.'"

The "Drama" singer continued:

"When I was a trainee, she brought me band-aids and hid them in my bag (because I work too hard)."

While there are times that she and Karina fight with each other, the idol still insists on how kind-hearted her sister is, narrating:

"When she was a teenager, I was so naughty that I bothered her too much. I bit her, smacked her and gave her bruises."

They hilariously joked that that's also the reason her older sister became a nurse, to be able to treat herself.

Regarding the fact that she is Karina's older sister, the K-pop star said that it's a top secret and explained how her remark that her older sister is "prettier" made her sibling feel stressed out.

"I once mentioned that my sister is prettier than me and she is super stressed about it. She would say, 'I couldn't go out in the world because of you.' She was so stressed and told me not to ever mention it again."

As a response, Karina asked not to be curious about her older sister and just leave her as a question mark.
