Korean MIDZYs and NSWERs were enraged after a netizen compared Natty's gradual success to ITZY and NMIXX.

In the forum, the author posted a caption, saying that ITZY and NMIXX faded in comparison when it came to Natty's gradual build-up. OP claimed that Natty received more positive feedback in her career more than ITZY and NMIXX.
The author then pointed out how much Natty went through by participating in various survival programs just to make a debut. This was followed by OP's screenshot of a caption stating how Natty will surpass ITZY and NMIXX eventually over time.

"If you look at ITZY and NMIXX, so many reactions mentioned how lacking they are and they couldn't hit big properly, but instead, Natty debuted through Kiss of Life with a solo song and is slowly hitting big by herself and her reactions are actually better to be honest.
It's not a case that you can hit big in big companies onlyPeople also say that Kiss of Life reminds them of a potential YG group too.

These sentiments stem from the fact that ITZY and NMIXX are both have sparked numerous online forums due to their album sales performance, lack of promotions, public feedback, and many more.
Fans were enraged and stated that even though ITZY and NMIXX were "lacking" in certain aspects, they assured that both groups were more popular than Natty and KISS OF LIFE. They also called out the author for the backhanded remark and for dragging the groups.
Apart from the two JYP girl groups, netizens also mentioned YG Entertainment's newest girl group BABYMONSTER in the fray. Read their comments below:

Natty is known for her participation in "SIXTEEN" (2015), which formed the K-pop powerhouse girl group TWICE. After not making the cut in the final lineup, Natty joined the survival show "Idol School" (2017), which formed the fourth-gen girl group fromis_9.
However, Natty was eliminated once again in the show's final episode. On May 7, 2020, Natty officially made her solo debut with single album "NINETEEN" and its title track of the same name.

Afterwards, the idol signed a contract under S2 Entertainment on July 12, 2022. On July 5, 2023, KISS OF LIFE, including Natty, debuted with their eponymous mini album and title track "Shhh."
