Top 50 K-pop Girl Groups in February 2024: (G)I-DLE, IVE, TWICE, More!

This February, the Korean Business Research Institute released its brand ranking list for K-pop girl groups who trended the most.

From huge data gathered from January 11 to February 11, sources mentioned a total of 50 K-pop girl groups, but only 20 were recorded on the list. Their results were determined by analyzing factors related to their exposure, engagement, and popularity.

Here are 50 most buzzworthy K-pop girl groups in February 2024!

1.    (G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE made it on No. 1 after receiving a brand reputation index of 5,108,516. The girl group is also making trends on social media due to their promotions for newest comeback album "2" and title track "Super Lady."

2.    IVE

IVE received a brand reputation index of 3,288,945 for the month of February, which placed them at No. 2.

3.    TWICE

TWICE earned the No. 3 spot after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,288,945. The nonet has been consistent in trending due to their teasers for upcoming 13th mini album "With YOU-th." Meanwhile, TWICE has also dropped their pre-release track "I Got You" on February 2.

4.    LE SSERAFIM

With a brand reputation index of 2,989,993, LE SSERAFIM managed to secure fourth place. The quintet is also trending for their "EASY" comeback teasers and announcements.

5.    BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK rounded the top five after garnering a brand reputation index of 2,889,685. This February, BLACKPINK's youngest member Lisa made buzz after announcing the establishment of her independent label LLOUD.

6.    aespa

In sixth place, aespa garnered a brand reputation index of 2,382,953 for February. Aside from their group activities, they have also gained attention across online communities for their social media updates.

7.    NewJeans

NewJeans claimed the No. 7 spot after seeing a brand reputation index of 2,340,780. As the leading fourth-gen girl group in terms of international presence, NewJeans is expected to rise above in the future.

8.    Red Velvet

Red Velvet gathered a brand reputation index of 2,111,653, earning them the eighth place.

9.    OH MY GIRL

OH MY GIRL received a brand index of 1,996,588, which placed them at No. 9.
