Former OH MY GIRL JinE Draws Flak for Instagram Story Regarding aespa Karina

On February 28, netizens gathered in an online thread to discuss the Instagram Story made by former OH MY GIRL member JinE.

According to the author's post, a screencap from one of JinE's Stories featured the former idol wearing a white hoodie amid a snowy background. However, most of the spotlight was specified on the artist's caption saying, "Karina Karina Karina Narina lol."

The comments section was filled with frustrated netizens, who were annoyed with JinE's post. Netters then wondered about the overall context of the post, questioning if JinE was lowkey shading the "Black Mamba" singer regarding her relationship with actor Lee Jae Wook.

Some even pondered if JinE was posting this in order to gain attention or chase clout, while others criticized her for being "rude" to the couple. They were also curious about JinE's connection to the two celebrities.

JinE made her debut with OH MY GIRL on April 21, 2015, after undergoing the trainee life for four years since 2011.

However, on August 25, 2016, WM Entertainment revealed that JinE would be on a temporary hiatus. The reason was to prioritize her treatment for anorexia nervosa, which led to her not being able to participate in the group's future activities.

On October 30, 2017, JinE officially left the group and WM Entertainment after her exclusive contract was terminated.
