On April 1, netizens discussed the poll established by the platform DC Inside, which ranked the top K-pop idols who would suffer the most if caught in a dating scandal. According to the site's findings, the top five comprised of female idols from fourth-gen K-pop girl groups.

Fourth-gen "It" girl Jang Wonyoung of IVE made it on No. 1, as the idol claimed 19 percent by collecting 5,450 out of the 28,919 votes cast.

While the idol did secure the top spot, netizens weren't agreeing as to how Wonyoung would be involved in a relationship due to her hectic schedule.

Furthermore, some also pointed out that Wonyoung was also voted No. 1 because of the anticipated "hate" the antis would give against her.

Internet users stated:

• "People here are saying Wonyoung will be fine as if it's Wonyoung's stans that will be the problem and that she doesn't have a legion of antis who wouldn't jump on the opportunity to tear her apart like y'all did HSH or Jennie."
• "Wonyoung would get ripped apart by antis, not fans."

2.    LE SSERAFIM Chaewon

Chaewon made it in second place after gathering 4,636 votes, which covers 17 percent.

Netizens claimed that if Chaewon was to be involved in a dating scandal, LE SSEARFIM's performance across digital and physical charts would be impacted due to the idol's large male fanbase.

• "Chaewon has a lot more international female fans but a lot of male Korean fans so I can see it. They'd be so rabid about it, it's scary."
• "Chaewon's fanbase has a lot of male stans so that is probably a lost cause.
• "Agree with Chaewon. Her fanboys are massive."
• "If Chaewon caught dating, LSF digital chart and album sales will be impacted because they're male fandom dominant like TWICE peak era."

3.    aespa Winter

In third place, Winter of aespa followed with a total vote count of 4,129, which covers 15 percent. In her case, netizens discussed that the impact of Winter's dating news on the public was debatable since the idol has a lot of male and female fans in equal measure.

4.    NewJeans Haerin

Haerin of NewJeans managed to claim the No. 4 spot with a total of 2,986 votes, which covered 11 percent.

Unfortunately, netizens disagreed with Haerin's inclusion on the rankings due to her age and claimed that it was unlikely for her to be involved in dating scandals.

5.    IVE Ahn Yujin

Ahn Yujin is the leader of IVE and a former IZ*ONE member. The idol rounded the top five with a total vote count of 1,843 and a coverage of seven percent.
