A Japanese media outlet released supposed proof of LE SSERAFIM Kazuha and &TEAM K, but it has only caused backlash against the publication.

Previously, Kazuha and K were embroiled in dating rumors after Japanese publication Shukan Bunshun released photos of the two on a supposed date. While their agencies were quick to shut down the rumors, the publication stated they would release more photos to prove they were dating.

Background of LE SSERAFIM Kazuha, &TEAM K's Dating Rumors

On April 3, 2024, Shukan Bunshun released an exclusive report claiming Kazuha was dating a male idol six years older than her, who towers at 186cm tall. Photos of the female idol with the man were posted online, with the publication stating she went on a date with him at a high-end yakiniku restaurant in Ginza.

It was soon discovered that the male idol in question was K, a fellow labelmate under HYBE Labels. The publication stated that additional photos of the two would be shared on April 4 to prove their relationship.

Despite the photos, both Kazuha and K's agencies under HYBE Labels denied the rumors. They stated that the two are not dating but are close friends, which is why they were seen having dinner together.

Although the two confirmed that they are not in a romantic relationship, publications have continued to claim that they are dating, arousing anger among the fans.

Additional 'Proof' of LE SSERAFIM Kazuha, &TEAM K Has K-Netz Baffled

On April 4, the publication released supposed evidence of the two idols' relationship.

They claimed that the two enjoyed a drive together after enjoying a meal together and were once spotted wearing earrings of the same design. However, no photo of the two idols together that showed them dating was released.

The failure to provide any substantial evidence to support the claim has only caused distrust among Korean netizens. Because of this, netizens are expressing their discontent, questioning whether the media outlet is exploiting Kazuha and K's dating rumors for profit.

It was noted that while they are reporting on the idols' supposed dating news, the publication puts ads on their article, further fueling the frustration of fans both internationally and locally.

Additionally, this media outlet was previously embroiled in controversy last year over unfounded dating rumors involving an edited photo of Kim Chae-won. As this has resurfaced, Shukan Bunshun is now facing criticism for tarnishing the reputation of K-pop artists through increasingly shameless tactics without any signs of remorse.
