Currently, HYBE Labels and ADOR are in the middle of a messy internal conflict. After being accused of trying to take the total management rights of ADOR and demanding Min Hee Jin step down as CEO, the latter fought back with a statement against the label. Following backlash, she held a press conference to clear her name, with damning evidence against HYBE's founder, Bang SI Hyuk.

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin Holds Emergency Press Conference

Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, held an emergency press conference at the Korea Conference Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of April 25, 2024.

Previously, HYBE began an investigation after discovering evidence that ADOR's management, including CEO Min Hee Jin, had attempted to seize total control of ADOR. The HYBE audit team reportedly reclaimed company computer assets by visiting ADOR's management offices.

HYBE suspects that they may pursue independent activities after securing management rights and ultimately leave HYBE. They also claim to have identified instances where ADOR's management leaked confidential documents, such as contracts, to attract investors and engaged in starting hate trains against HYBE artists.

HYBE plans to take legal action if necessary based on the computer assets they have secured.

Following these allegations, Min Hee Jin organized a press conference to not only defend herself from the claims but also to show evidence of HYBE's wrongful deeds.

Min Hee Jin Reveals Screenshots Where She Was Asked to 'Crush aespa' By HYBE Founder Bang Si Hyuk

Among the accusations she claimed against HYBE and Bang Si Hyuk, one stood out.

During the press conference, Min Hee Jin shared screenshots of her KakaoTalk conversation with Bang Si Hyuk from December 2, 2021. After inviting Min Hee Jin to join the company to help with the branding of the company's image, he mentioned aespa in their chat.

He asked her if he would be able to "crush aespa." In response, Min Hee Jin simply laughed. He then sent an emoticon that shows he will be leaving that up to her.

Bang Si Hyuk: "You'll be able to crush aespa, right?"

Min Hee Jin: "Hahaha."

Bang Si Hyuk: "Hahah. (emoticon) I'll leave it up to you."

In another screenshot, Bang Si Hyuk encourages Min Hee Jin to forget her past as a creative director for SM Entertainment and stated they will make Min Hee Jin's world.

Bang Si Hyuk: "Forget aespa. Let's make Min Hee Jin World."

Min Hee Jin: "It's just..."

Bang Si Hyuk: "Don't worry."

Min Hee in: "I'm not worried, LOL. I just wonder if (censored) have to such say things (cut off)."
