MBLAQ Accepts Apology From Comedian, 'Glad to Clear Misunderstanding'

With comedian Im Joon Hyuk offering a word of apology via Facebook, MBLAQ stated that they are glad the misunderstanding between them has been cleared now.

An associate from MBLAQ's management company announced, "It was unfortunate that a misunderstanding like this resulted after a good effort by our members on the show, but we are just glad that we figured out a way to clear the confusion between us."

He added, "MBLAQ invested so much time and effort into the new album, and they are second to none when it comes to wanting to be funny and good on variety shows, comedy shows, etc. For an idol group like us that depends heavily on public perception, this was unfortunate, to say the least. But we are glad that Im Joon Hyuk was able to offer his sincere apology. We are okay now."

On June 17, the comedian who worked with MBLAQ in his act on comedy show 'Happy People,' posted a critical comment of the idol group, calling them super stars who are difficult to accommodate.

Two days later, Im Joon Hyuk retracted his criticism and clarified via another Facebook post. "There was a misunderstanding. I would like to thank MBLAQ for preparing well enough to get through everything in one try without any second takes. I came off the wrong way and said things that did not best express my thoughts. I will be more careful with my words from now on."
