On midnight of June 26, 2024, V sent ARMYs into a stir by posting a teaser poster for his upcoming project.
Just over three months since his English single "FRI(END)S," V is now gearing up to release a new work titled "TYPE 1," which is scheduled to be released on July 9.
This announcement coincides with his bandmate Jimin’s upcoming release, setting the stage for an exciting period for ARMYs as the two BTS members release new music at the same time.

However, the mood of "TYPE 1" hints at a narrative of longing and melancholy. The poster includes poignant lines likely from the upcoming song's lyrics:

Fans are speculating that the song might be about Jennie, who he was linked to in 2023. Though V and Jennie's relationship has never been officially confirmed, their public appearance hand-in-hand in Paris spoke volumes.
