Kim Hyun Joong's Debut Album 2nd on the Oricon Chart

Kim Hyun Joong has set a remarkable record and successfully started his schedule in Japan.

According to Oricon (an official music raking site in Japan), Kim Hyun Joong's debut single album "Kiss Kiss / Lucky Guy" placed 2nd on the chart immediately after its release on January 25.

Specifically, 71,812 of Kim Hyun Joong's debut album was sold on the first day it was released. This is the best daily record on the Oricon Chart for a debut song of an international singer.

Kim Hyun Joong has grabbed the attention of the Japanese music industry, because his album sold more than Jang Geun Suk's debut single "Let Me Cry". "Let Me Cry" was released last April and sold over 57,000 copies.

On January 27, Kim Hyun Joong is appearing on the Japanese Asahi TV's popular music program called "Music Station". Soon after, on February 5, he is holding a live performance with 20,000 fans to celebrate the release of his debut album.
