Miyeon of the girl group i-dle unveiled the complete tracklist for her second solo mini-album MY, Lover on October 23 at midnight KST, marking the latest details in her highly anticipated solo comeback.
The seven-track album will arrive on November 3 at 6 p.m. KST, following more than three years since her debut solo album was released in April 2022.
The tracklist reveals a diverse collection of tracks, including "Reno (feat. Colde)," "Say My Name," "F.F.L.Y," "Space Invader," "You And No One Else," "Petal Shower," and "Show." The album explores love from multiple perspectives, with MY, Lover serving as the second installment in Miyeon's "MY" series that documents her personal journey as a solo artist.
The promotional campaign centers on a pink matchbox and matchstick motif, symbolizing the passionate spark of love that Miyeon aims to convey. An introductory film released earlier showcased emotional imagery capturing the complexity of relationships through extreme temperature contrasts, melting chairs, and ice cream representing the passionate beginning of love, while lightning and raindrops symbolized the pain of separation.
Miyeon's agency, Cube Entertainment, previously released a comprehensive promotional scheduler indicating that various teasers, including concept photos, audio snippets, and a music video preview, would be rolled out starting October 22. A pre-release track is also scheduled to drop on October 28, building momentum ahead of the full album release.
The vocalist has demonstrated her growth as a singer-songwriter in recent years, particularly through her self-composed digital single "Sky Walking," released in August, which combined bold basslines with 1980s-inspired synths and guitar elements. She also contributed to the songwriting and composition of "Unstoppable," a track from i-dle's eighth mini-album 'We Are' released in May.
Physical copies of MY, Lover come packaged with a 108-page photobook, temperature-change bookmark, stickers, postcards, ID photos, Polaroids, and photocards, with a vinyl edition also available through pre-order. The album's physical release follows digitally on November 4.
As the lead vocalist of i-dle, known for hit singles including "Latata," "Tomboy," and "Nxde," Miyeon has continued expanding her creative reach across music, acting, and broadcasting throughout her career. MY, Lover is expected to showcase her more mature sensibilities through its exploration of romantic themes.
