Kim Soo-hyun's legal team has recently rejected allegations accusing him of keeping photographs of the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
Atty. Ko Sang-rok, the lawyer representing Soo-hyun, issued an official statement on Wednesday denying the claims made by Sae-ron's family.
"There are not thousands of photos. Such a volume simply does not exist," Ko said in a statement, per Korea JoongAng Daily. "If material that was never presented in any police or court records over the past eight months suddenly emerges now, that in itself strongly suggests the possibility of fabrication."
According to Ko's statement, the party spreading the claims had repeatedly promised the release of "thousands of photos" purporting to show the duo together. But, as of the statement's release, no such thing has been produced. He later referred to the scheme as part of a "nationwide fraud" targeting an innocent victim.
The legal team also refuted claims regarding alleged KakaoTalk messages said to date back to 2016 and 2018. This includes one highly publicized line reading: "When can I fall asleep in your arms?"

According to Ko, the claim that the actor authored the 2016 message relies solely on the assertion of Sae-ron's sibling, without corroborating evidence. He emphasized that nothing presented thus far verifies that the actor wrote the message.
Another alleged 2018 message, where the actor allegedly said, "If you will not try, brother," was also refuted by the lawyer. He has further stated that the late actress' family has never claimed or verified that Soo-hyun was responsible for Sae-ron's passing, according to Allkpop.
Furthermore, Soo-hyun's legal team responded to claims regarding letters exchanged during Soo-hyun's mandatory military service. Ko clarified that no additional personal exists beyond those previously acknowledged by the actor's agency. He further explained that a so-called "internet letter' cited in recent claims was not a private communication between the actor and Sae-ron but rather a public fan message commonly made available online to supporters during an actor's enlistment period.
Soo-hyun's representatives reiterated that the actor will continue to pursue legal action against the dissemination of fabricated materials and defamatory claims. The team maintains that the spread of unverified messages, misrepresented correspondence, and speculative theories has caused significant harm to the actor's reputation.'
