American Horror Story Season 3 Coven Production Updates: Taissa Farmiga Teases Scripts, LA And New Orleans Shoots Rumored
As FX prepares to launch "American Horror Story" season three entitled "Covens," there are signs that production is officially underway, both in Los Angeles and possibly in New Orleans.

This tweet comes from actress Taissa Farmiga, who played Violet Harmon in season one of "American Horror Story." As news sources have long reported, after a long absence from season two "Asylum," Farmiga is coming back in a big way for season three "Coven."
Notice that she says scripts, as in plural. As cable shows handle production schedule differently, it is possible Farmiga has just received her scripts for the season as production goes on location.
As TVLine reports, this is the first time "American Horror Story" is going on the road to shoot on location.
"The fun thing is researching what are the really haunted places in America, and we have a couple doozy locales," teased Ryan Murphy during a Paley Fest interview.
One particular area that is rumored to welcome "American Horror Story" is New Orleans, Louisiana, as confirmed by actress Francis Conroy.
"I haven't seen any scripts yet, so all I know is that it's going to be in New Orleans and who will be involved," said Conroy during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in March.
If this is still true, fans of the show should start seeing production in New Orleans this month for season three. But the New Orleans production is not entirely confirmed.
Listed this month in Backstage.com are all the productions happening in Los Angeles (unless otherwise noted), and "American Horror Story" is definitely listed, with a shoot happening at 4705 Laurel Canyon Blvd., Ste. 301, Valley Village, CA 91607 sometime this month.
The location seems to be a law firm, so it is possible that this shoot does not involve the main cast, but are for extraneous scenes for season three.
Either way, more news should emerge as the month rolls along. Here's to hoping we get some quality sneak peek set photos!
