Popular K-hip-hop group Dynamic Duo may not have the same kind of music or look as the idols who regularly appear on TV music shows, but that didn't stop them from winning #1 on the July 10 broadcast of MBC's Show Champion.

Dynamic Duo got together in 2003 and kickstarted a long, successful career with their first album Taxi Driver in 2004.

Even with incredible success and a whole lot of praise from critics and industry peers, the pair had never reached number one on a music show - until now.

During Wednesday's broadcast of Show Champion, Dynamic Duo's latest single "BAAAM" was named the number one song of the week.

Before the final decision was made, Choiza and Gaeko said they regretted not being able to make their way onto the show for the announcement, but expressed their humble gratitude for even being nominated.

Soon after, staff from the show surprised the rappers by suddenly appearing with flowers and trophies to congratulate them.

Dynamic Duo released their seventh studio album LUCKYNUMBERS and its lead single "BAAAM" on July 1 - both instantly dominated the music charts in South Korea.
