Recent rumors between Ailee and actor Park Ki Woong invaded netizen forums and Ailee attempted to clear up things up about her and  Park Ki Woong being close to each other. On the other hand, Park Ki Woong also was surprised about the recent buzz on twitter.

The actor recently tweeted to support Ailee but he used her real name over her stage name, showing how he cheered for Ailee's new song, which left media and netizens wondering whether they were close enough to be dating.

When asked about the recent rumors about her and the said actor, Ailee said to her defense stating, "I've never even met Park Ki Woong. I was also surprised upon seeing articles about him supporting me. I found out that Park Ki Woong is close friends with my manager and is a big fan of mine. So I'm very thankful for the support."

Park Ki Woong, on his side, also was a bit confused about Ailee's recent statement as well as how the buzz about them got around, since he said to his knowledge that it was Ailee's representatives who asked him to  post a supportive tweet for her. Park Ki Woong says, " Ah, about yesterday's happening ^^;; Ailee's reps were the one who asked me to promote her making it seem like she and I are close. There were a lot of articles about that yesterday, and as someone who was just helping, I was kind of baffled by it. However, Ailee personally called me and we went over the parts that weren't conveyed clearly. I still support her nevertheless! U&I is good ^^".   

Well, now that it is clear, maybe they can become good friends and actually get closer through this incident.  Park Ki Woong seems to be a gentleman with that clarification, still voicing his support for Ailee.
