Lisa Kudrow `Web Therapy’ David Schwimmer Too Creepy for a `Friends’ Reunion; Matt LeBlanc Doesn’t `Want to See Old Joey’ Either

Lisa Kudrow’s “Web Therapy” hosted David Schwimmer recently and that was more than enough of a “Friends” reunion for her. Lisa Kudrow told HuffPost live that David Schwimmer’s insistence on his character’s anal fixation was positively creepy.

In April there was a rumor that spread over the internet that a “Friends” holiday episode reunion was in the works. The rumor gained so much ground that Lisa Kudrow wondered why she hadn’t been called to reprise her Phoebie Buffay character. The rumors turned out to be false. Jennifer Aniston blamed Matthew Perry for starting them at the time.

Kudrow isn’t interested in what might have happened to her Phoebe Buffay character after “Friends” ended. She said she’s too old now to do a “Friends” reunion and has no interest in what would happen to those characters now that they’ve grown up and become responsible.

Lisa Kudrow does not want to see what happened to Phoebe Buffay after "Friends" ended. When the "Web Therapy" star visited HuffPost Live, she said she's too old to do a "Friends" reunion. Kudrow says that if the popular, long running show about 20-somethings in Manhattan did get a reboot, they shouldn’t bother to call her.

Kudrow said, "I wouldn't even have an interest in seeing what those people are doing 10 years later as parents that have to be responsible ... It would be so different that it wouldn't be 'Friends' anymore. Have I talked anybody out of wanting a reunion?"

Lisa Kudrow quashed the idea of a “Friends” reunion. Unless everyone was involved. "Of course I would do it if everyone wanted to do it. And everyone isn't the six of us -- it's David Crane and Marta Kaufman who created the show."

Kudrow’s not the only alum who has no interest in seeing his old “Friends.” Matt LeBlanc recently told EW that "I don't want to see old Joey. Everyone’s going to have different vision of what those characters are like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people. A couple of people will go, 'That's what I thought!' but for the most part, it’s going to let people down. It's better to let them just think."

Kudrow doesn’t know if "Friends" would catch on in today’s TV climate "They cancel things, I don't know why. Some things stay on, I really don't know why. I can't make head nor tails out of it."

Lisa Kudrow recently reunited with her co-star David Schwimmer on her Showtime series "Web Therapy." And things got a little creepy. On the show, the guests are encouraged to play along with whatever the characters have to do, but things got out of hand with Schwimmer.

David Schwimmer’s character witnessed Kudrow’s character, Fiona, have an affair with his father when she was in college and he was advised to have sex with Fiona to purge himself of the memory.
Kudrow says "Schwimmer was so creepy. The character he chose got so creepy and was insisting on anal. Can that be on Huffington Post? It was more that his character was so insistent. 'It's going to happen, whether you like it or not.' Well, OK, now that's rape."
