The MBC drama Light and Shadow has exceeded all expectations by claiming the #1 spot in viewer's ratings. According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the new drama had 17.7% of viewers on February 1^st, which was an increase from the 16.3% on January 1^st.

The SBS drama History of a Salaryman also made a gain in the ratings from 13.7% to 15.1%.

However, Dream High 2 showed a different story. After airing last week with an impressive 10.5%, the viewership dropped 0.7% becoming the only drama that suffered in the ratings that night.

By trying to build up on the success of the first season, Dream High hasn't been getting good feedback from fans.

It seems to be good news for MBC's Light and Shadow, which gives such high hopes to exceed 20% in the ratings.
