Kylie Minogue May Replace Jessie J on `The Voice' UK; Show has Been In Chaos Since Jessie J Quit

Kylie Minogue may be replacing Jessie J on BBC's `The Voice’ next year. KYLIE Minogue is rumored to be in "final talks" with BBC brass to mentor singers on the new season of “The Voice.”

The third series of “The Voice” has been bedlam since Jessie J, who sang with Price Tag, and Danny O'Donoghue, from “The Script,” left the show within weeks of each other. The BBC heads think that unless they get another big pop name, like Kylie Minogue, to join that they will also lose former Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and Tom Jones. They’ve even offered will.i.am a raise. Kylie Minogue is definitely an A-List star, she’s had number one hits ever decade since the 1980s. “The Voice”’s first choice was Emeli Sand, but she pulled her name out of the running.

A source on “The Voice” said “Show execs have put Kylie at the top of their hit list. She's still a huge name in the pop industry and has over 25 years' music experience. Show execs have put Kylie at the top of their hit list. She's still a huge name in the pop industry and has over 25 years' music experience. Kylie is preparing to reinvent herself again after signing to Jay-Z's management firm Roc Nation, so it will all depend on timings and whether she can fit in the show around her release and promo schedule."

Paloma Faith, a BRITs nomine, and Will Young, who won Pop Idol, are also said to be in the running.

Jessie J announced that she is leaving “The Voice” to concentrate on her music. Will Young had the job before he was replaced by Danny.

Spice Girl Mel C and former X Factor runner-up Olly Murs have also offered their services.

A spokesman for Kylie last night refused to comment.
