Sue Pearls Member Lee Jung Mi Made a Dramatic Comeback

By Staff Reporter | February 05, 2012 02:23 PM EST

SBS ‘K-Pop star’ contestant Lee Jung Mi persuades judge BoA to cast her in the most recent episode aired on January 5.

Except J.Y. Park who spent all his casting cards in the beginning, BoA and Yang Hyun Suk had total of 3 casting cards left to be used at the end of the day. Therefore the eliminated contestants were rounded up to begin an extra round of audition.

Yang Hyun Suk casted Park Jung Eun and Lee Gun Woo during the extra round of audition, while BoA decided to give-up on her last casting card which disappointed the contestants. In the last moment as all the contestants stepped down from the stage Lee Jung Mi suddenly raised her hand, which drew everyone’s attention to her.

“I think I will be too regretful because of that one last remaining casting card,” shared Lee Jung Mi requesting another opportunity to BoA. Although BoA first looked unsure but seeing her desperate need allowed her another chance.

Lee Jung Mi sang with all her hear to catch this last opportunity given to her. BoA shared, “You need to have the courage to sing when everyone is backing down. Isn’t this survival? Don’t forget this moment when you raised your hand. In that sense, I will give this card to Lee Jung Mi.”

The entire Sue Pearls member except Lee Jung Mi was casted into SM. As soon as Lee Jung Mi stepped into the waiting room the Sue Pearls members burst into tears while hugging her.
