Andrew Garfield Debuts Beard In Twitter Photo While Editing ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’; New Electro Poster?

Andrew Garfield showed off his new beard in a Twitter photo posted by "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" director Marc Webb.

Yesterday, Marc Webb posted a photo on Twitter of Andrew Garfield with a big beard. Andrew Garfield stars as Spider-Man in the film. In the photo, Andrew is sitting behind a bunch of computer monitors in red pants, a striped shirt, and black cardigan.

Marc Webb captioned the photo: "Andrew Garfield kindly showing editor Pietro Scalia how it's done."

According to Cinema Blend, Andrew is in the editing room of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," and seems to be very involved in the post-production process of the film.

In the background of the Twitter photo, we can also catch a glimpse of Electro, played by Jamie Foxx, in a poster hanging up on the wall behind the computers. It's an image of Electro that has not been officially released, and is the first full-body shot of the villain in his costume from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

According to Cinema Blend, it was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that this version of Electro will get his powers due to an accident involving genetically modified electric eels, similar to how Spider-Man got his powers from a genetically modified spider).

It's also expected that Foxx will reprise the role in future sequels.

Emma Stone, Sally Field and Martin Sheen will all be reprising their roles from the first movie, while other new cast additions include Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Felicity Jones, Sarah Gadon, and B.J. Novak, Cinema Blend reports.

Columbia Pictures will release "The Amazing Spider-Man" in theaters on May 2, 2014.
