Yang Hyun Suk Has Big International Plans For WINNER 'Simultaneous Debut In Korea And Japan'

With the announcement that YG Entertainment's newset boy group WINNER will open for their world-renowned superstars Big Bang during their Japan dome tour next month, CEO Yang Hyun Suk leads on that they are not planning on stopping there.

The agency has announced through various media outlets in Japan that they are planning a simultaneous debut for WINNER in both Korea and Japan.

"The Japanese market is appealing. We have in mind a simultaneous debut in Korea and Japan," Japan-based newspaper Daily Sports quoted Yang Hyun Suk as saying. "The first album will include songs recorded in Japanese."

The label has big plans for their newest pop group, who will hopefully be able to seamlessly bridge the gap between the two nations' music charts.

"We will include songs for the Japanese audience," explained the CEO.

The five members of WINNER include Kang Seung Yoon, Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, Lee Seung Hoon, and Nam Tae Hyun and not only have they been trainees at the agency for several years, but for the past three have been studying the Japanese language.

"WINNER will be able to bear fruit in Japan earlier than Big Bang did," remarked Yang Hyun Suk to Japanese media outlet Sports Hochi.

Set to make their official debut with the release of an album sometime in December, WINNER will first make their way around Japan on a sixteen show tour with Big Bang kicking off on November 16 at the Seibu Dome in Saitama, Japan.
