Selena Gomez Come And Get It: The Pop Star Will Grace The Cover Of Teen Vogue Saying “I'm always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night”

Selena Gomez has been a hot subject lately due to her comment about being sexy and what not on her "Stars Dance" tour, which was allegedly directly targeted at Miley Cyrus.

"I get it all day, every day, that I'm not sexy enough" Gomez, 21, told fans at a concert this week on her "Stars Dance" tour. "Let me tell you one thing: the sexiest thing, I think, actually, I know, is class and that's it."

Her "Come & Get It" single has been topping charts earlier this year despite her not being too sexy is one proof that the pop star's talent and class can get her popularity.

"Selena embracing her wholesomeness has not hurt her popularity yet and that is the message that she is sending," Carlos Greer of People magazine stated. "[That] you don't have to be sexy.  You can actually wear clothes and act your age."

While the previous Disney princess "Come & Get It" single might have suggests rebellious antics, she's not always like that.

In her latest interview with Teen Vogue, where she will appear on the cover of the December 2013/January 2014, the 21- year old pop star, explains that she wants to feel "human and normal," where she can do whatever she wants but with boundaries.

'The older I've gotten, the more I've learned that I have to open myself up to all opportunities. Maybe I'll get burned and not meet the right people, but I won't know until I do it,' Gomez explains to Teen Vogue.

"You fall in love and it completely consumes you," Gomez added.

The pop star and actress explains how she had done things that might make her into something she's not but eventually she realizes that she's the girl guys would want to take home to their parents.

"So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like, forget it-I can do anything I want. I've tried it, and I've never been that girl. I'm always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night."

She revealed that she's an insomniac who loves to dance and that made her escape from all the drama she's facing.

"My attention span is all over the place, and I overthink things," Gomez said. "I'm an insomniac. Dancing allows me to go away and not have to think of what I'm doing next. That is the opportunity for me to really escape."

The "Spring Breakers" actress says that she's been learning to accept experiences that's been happening in her life both good and bad.

"I like to say I have a good sense of judgment, but I know that not everybody does," she explains.

"The older I've gotten, the more I've learned that I have to open myself up to all opportunities. Maybe I'll get burned and not meet the right people, but I won't know until I do it."
