INFINITE Wraps Up US Leg of 'One Great Step' Tour with High-Energy, Fan-Focused Performance in New York City

INFINITE wrapped up the North American leg of their One Great Step world tour on November 16 in New York City where they were greeted by thousands of excited fans.

The Hammerstein Ballroom was full to the brim with INSPIRITS eager to spend the night with their beloved idols and judging by the night's three-hour-long show, the INFINITE members were equally thrilled to perform for their fans.

The exchange between the idols and their fans throughout the night really set the One Great Step tour apart from others of its kind.

Despite a particularly rowdy general admission floor that saw several dozen girls having to be pulled from the pit by security guards after fainting or being knocked down and trampled, the mood in the room was positive and energetic.

Fans flocked from across the US and many other nearby countries to enjoy the atmosphere of fun, many flaunting impressive hand-made signs and flags from their home nations.

"I thought the crowd was awesome," explained 19-year-old Paige Hyden who flew in from Wisconsin for Saturday's event. "They were cheering like crazy, shouting I love you and cheering the guys on. It was hard not to get swept up in all the excitement and cheer along."

Perhaps what was most obvious at the concert, aside from the incredible fan presence, was the reciprocation from the INFINITE members. At several different points throughout the show the members expressed their genuine gratitude towards the audience.

"The fan loyalty that INFINITE shows is very different compared to other bands I go and see," said 23-year-old Christine Jossart. "Every concert that I go to the band will thank the audience, but in this concert each member said something to the fans, some of them even going so far as to say it in English, which I really appreciated."

The group members were interacting with the audience every 'great' step of the way, from tossing little gifts out into the crowd to using fan cameras to take selfies of themselves, and even one lucky girl who was personally serenaded in the balcony by Woohyun.

The atmosphere of fun was also highlighted by the exceptional show INFINITE delivered.

With a live band on stage with them, the energy of the performances were at times shocking with impressive choreography, playful staging, and tremendous live singing.

The group mixed their up-beat dance numbers and tender ballad performances with a handful of solo stages and sub-unit numbers, making for smooth transitions throughout and a show that was diverse and entertaining.

"The concert was better than I expected because they had a live band for the music, which is something different from other concerts that really sets them apart," added 23-year-old Kimberly Hyden. "And the energy level of their performance was unbelievable! You could tell that Infinite gives their best when performing and consequently, your appreciation and support for them grows because of that."

Haley Saunders, a college student from Scottsdale, Arizona, agreed that One Great Step exceeded her expectations. "The momentum never failed. It began with a bang, took several turns of pace, hit a final crescendo, and left me on a bed of forget-me-nots."

After nearly three hours of singing, dancing, and heartfelt thank you speeches from INFINITE, the concert ended with an emotional performance of "With." Canons delivered a steady stream of confetti over the crowd while the members shed a few tears as they bowed and waved goodbye to their fans in New York City.

An amazing show from INFINITE their US fans are surely never going to forget.
