2PM’s first Great Hits album ‘2PM Beast in Korea 2008-2011’ released in Japan on March 14 debuted second place on Oricon Daily album chart.

The group has been noted as the second highest selling rookie artist in Japan last year. Most recently concluded their ‘Hands Up Asia Tour’ that captivated a total of 160,000 Asian fans. This has brought them to the forefront leading the K-Pop wave.

2PM debuted in Japan with their single ‘Take Off’ released last year, since then released total of 3 singles and 1 studio album, ‘Republic of 2PM.’

The Best of album contained some of 2PM’s hit songs such as ‘Heartbeat,’ ‘I’ll Be Back’ and ‘Hands Up’ as well as Junho and Jusu’s self-composed songs, ‘Give It To Me,’ ‘Hot’ and ‘Alive.’

Album sold 16,253 copies earning them second place, SDN48 with ‘NEXT ENCORE’ took first place.
