Looks like Tara Reid of "American Pie" fame wouldn't be so happy about this news. An ex-model she accused of attacking her inside a popular celebrity hangout in London in November 2012 bawled after the jury handed out a "not guilty" verdict on Thursday.

"Thank you," Maryam Hassan, 27, told the jury before she turned to embrace a friend in the courtroom who was there to lend support.

The DailyMail reported that the former model was also acquitted of the charge of racially aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress after she reportedly hurled invectives and a racial slur against the bouncer, Zimzan Lelo, who tried to pacify her.

Hassan didn't talk to reporters outside the courthouse. Tara Reid also did not issue any official statement after the verdict.

According to her affidavit read to the court, the actress narrated how Hassan kept approaching the table.

"She came up to me and threw the contents of her drink over my chest.I reacted immediately and threw my drink over her. The club's body guard took her away. The same female came back 20 minutes later and she was then taken away. She said "I'm not getting kicked out, you whore, you slut," Tara Reid claimed.

Reid also claimed that Hassan "glassed" her in a fit of jealous rage, which is why she was admitted to a hospital afterwards after sustaining corneal abrasion, a wound to her forehead and injury to her nose.

However, Hassan claimed that the glass was knocked off her hand by the bouncers while they were pulling her away. And although she confessed that she verbally abused Lelo, she could never attack his race and she himself is of mixed heritage and her husband is also black.

England striker Carlton Cole also swore on the character of Hassan, his friend of 12 years when she was working on charity programmes for football's foundation that assists affected children in Sierra Leone.

During all those times, he said, the former model "had shown herself to be of consistent character with a good moral standing."
