Cleveland Cavaliers Andrew Bynum Suspended Indefinitely By Team For Bad Conduct; Is He On The Trading Block?

The Cleveland Cavaliers management has suspended center Andrew Bynum indefinitely, leaving a lot of questions to the career of the former NBA All-star.

Just this morning, the Ohio-based club has announced that Bynum will not be seen in a Cavaliers until further notice due to his bad behavior.

"Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced today. Bynum did not travel with the team to Boston last night for the team's game this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. vs. the Celtics and has been excused from all team activities indefinitely. His status will be updated as appropriate." a statement from the NBA.com wrote.

According to Yahoo NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowsi, sources heard Bynum said that he "doesn't want to play basketball anymore. He never liked it that much in first place."

Bynum was signed by Cleveland Cavaliers to a two-year deal worth $24.5 million despite the fact that he was just coming off a terrible knee injury that sidelined him for more than one season. If the Cavaliers will let him go on January 7, only $6 million of his deal is guaranteed.

Kyrie Irving, the team's star point guard, called the latest development a "terrible" incident.

"It's a terrible situation internally with our team," he said. "It's something we have to get over."

For coach Mike Brown, who did not give any hint on why Bynum was suspended, he said that he is worried about the guys in the locker room," and that "there are a lot of ups and a lot of downs throughout the season."

If Bynum is going to be traded, insider Sam Amico of Fox Sports said on Twitter that:

#Cavs looking to trade Bynum, league sources say. And his contract, which pays him $6 million if he's released by Jan. 7, drawing interest.
