Idol group EXO member Chen kept his promise on "EXO's Showtime."

Cable channel MBC Every1 stated on the 6th that Chen sang a song to the viewers as a gift on a recent shooting of "EXO's Showtime."

Earlier EXO's Chen made a promise at a press conference on the show. He said, "If the viewer ratings surpass 1.2%, I will sing a song as a present."

"EXO's Showtime" started airing last November, and has recorded an average rating of 0.97%. It's greatest rating was 1.2%, and Chen kept his promise.

The show recorded a higher rating with each show. In just 6 episodes the show recorded an average of 1.385%, and the highest recorded 1.608%. In particular, the main teen audience recorded up to 7% viewership.

According to the staff, Chen stated, "I'm so happy that you've shown great interest in EXO's first solo entertainment show," then proceeded to sing the song "Nothing Better."

A preview of Chen's promised gift to his fans was released on the 6th through the show's official SNS. The full video will be available for viewing on the show, which is scheduled for broadcast on the 9th.
