A whopping 200 idols will be present for MBC's 2014 New Year special 'Idol Star Athletics Championship.' The competition will include sports such as track and field, archery, curling, and futsal.

On January 9th MBC stated, "The Star Athletics Championship will begin filming on the 13th at the Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul," and revealed the idol star roster for futsal.

The idols that will participate in the futsal competition are SHINee's Minho, INFINITE's Woohyun and Hoya, EXO's Luhan and Xiumin, BEAST's Doojoon, Kikwang, Yoseop, Teen Top's Ricky, 2AM's Seulong, Tasty's Soryoung, Surprise's Gong Myung, Block B's U Kwon, B1A4's Baro, BTS' Jimin, Gu Ja Myoung, Lunafly's Sam, Eric Nam, Sean Lee, B.A.P's Bang Yongguk, Young Jae, BTOB's Seo Eunkwang, Minhyuk, No Ji Hoon, ZE:A's Taehyun, Dongjoon, VIXX's Lavi, M.I.B's 5Zic, Kangnam, AJAX's Hyojoon, Boys' Republic's Soowoong, and K.Hunter

Besides the aforementioned idols, there will be many other idol star participants in the athletics championship, totaling around 200 people.

The Idol Star Athletic Championship is scheduled for broadcast at the end of January as a New Year special.
