R&B Duo Fly to the Sky Rumored To Be Making A Comeback Soon

It is not even the end of January yet and already 2014 is shaping up to be a great year for K-Pop comebacks and debuts.

The latest South Korean act to add their names to the list of expected returns this year is pop duo Fly to the Sky.

The successful R&B singers Brian Joo and Hwanhee have been focusing on their solo careers for some time now, but are rumored to be planning a reunion as Fly to the Sky sometime in the next two months.

On January 13, an entertainment industry insider revealed that the two longtime friends are currently wrapped up in creating a comeback album aimed to drop in late winter or early spring.

Fly to the Sky, although never officially disbanded, has not had a music release as a pair in five years.

When they first went their separate ways several years ago, Brian and Hwanhee assured their fans that it was not the end of Fly to the Sky, merely they would be taking time to focus more seriously on their individual pursuits saying, "Our reunion will naturally occur when our personal schedules match."

It seems that time may be just around the corner as Hwanhee was recently discharged from his mandatory military service.

Offering more proof that a new Fly to the Sky album may be just around the corner, the two members were spotted together at the premiere of Friend 2 back in November.

Fly to the Sky debuted in 1999 under SM Entertainment before switching to Pfull Entertainment in 2004.

They have released eight studio albums as a group, the last of which was 2009's Decennium.
