Friends Reunion 2014: Fake Friends Reunion Poster Angers Fans; Artist Apologizes; Jennifer Aniston Is Last Holdout?

"Friends" Reunion 2014: Rumors have been flying of a Friends reunion in 2014. A recent fan-made poster of a "Friends" reunion episode recently went viral but instead of eliciting excitement, it made Friends fans angry. The artist apologized.

Meanwhile, rumors fly that the "Friends" reunion is only being held back by Jennifer Aniston.

"Friends" cast will reunite in 2014. "Friends" cast won't reunite in 2014. Fans of the show are getting angry and a lot of that anger went pouring out on another fan of "Friends". Tom Charlie Thompson, 21, create a fake "Friends" Reunion 2014 poster advertising 'The One With The 10 Year Break.'

Fans who were waiting on any word of a "Friends" reunion for 2014 got upset. The fake "Friends" Reunion posters went viral on Twitter and Facebook. Thompson had no idea it would get so much attention. Even Lisa Kudrow saw it. Tom contacted Metro.co.uk and issued an apology saying 'I'm very sorry for any confusion caused. I have to say that the poster wasn't created with the intention to upset, anger or fool anyone. It wasn't even supposed to be seen by many people. Iwas expecting a few 'likes' on Facebook by some of my friends who are also fans of the show.'

The poster advertising a "Friends" reunion episode called "The One After the 10 Year Break" that went viral was a cropped shot of his original, which might have caused some of the confusion. He says 'My original poster has my Twitter name on it. Therefore, nobody should have been confused as to whether it might or might not be real. The fact it was cropped and re-uploaded by somebody else is what caused the confusion, in my opinion. An official promotional poster would not have had somebody's Twitter name stuck to the bottom of it. I don't regret making the poster, and I'm glad it was seen by so many people. Lisa Kudrow too! And like many, I still hope for some form of reunion in the future.'

A "Friends" reunion could  happen, if Jennifer Aniston can be convinced to join. The other five "Friends", Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc are reportedly ready to join. Well, according to some reports, others, not so much Courteney Cox said "We are way too old to be showing what we look like from that to that. No, we're not doing one."

Back in April, 2013 An NBC source told E! that talks for a "Friends" reunion were happening but there was no "forward motion" on the project. "Friends" executive producer Kevin S Bright said he it would have to be a TV special, not a movie, saying: "It was made to be an intimate show in your living room".

"Friends" produers are trying to convince actress Jennifer Aniston to join a reunion. Matt LeBlanc starred in a spin-off about his Joey character, but it was short-lived.

Jennifer Aniston is the last holdout to a "Friends" reunion in 2014. The actress whose hairstyle started a nationwide trend has been avoiding getting back together with her "Friends" castmates.

When asked Parade asked Jennifer Aniston whether she watched reruns of her old show she said "Yes, I'll stop and watch, though not the whole thing. It's fun for a second-you're like, what's this one?"

Jennifer Aniston is being "slowly convinced" to do a "Friends" reunion in 2014 to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the show's debut.Since "Friends" ended in 2004, Aniston has had a successful movie career, most recently in the movie

"We're the Millers." But Jennifer Aniston hasn't really put her character "Rachel" behind her. Proroducers have wanted to Aniston to reunite with castmates Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, since they broke up and it looks like that will finally happen in 2014.

A source told OK! magazine "Since the show ended in 2004 it's been rare for all six of them to appear in public together. But with next year's 20th anniversary (of the show's launch) it will be unavoidable for them to do something together. It's the perfect excuse to talk seriously about a new project. It's no secret the whole project will be pinned on Jennifer, who's incredibly busy with her movie career. But she's been slowly convinced that a reunion could be a good thing."

"Friends" was  a runaway hit in the 90s. Taking the slot vacated by "Mad About You" and coming after the classic comedy "Seinfeld," it told the story of a bunch of friends living in New York City and drinking coffee. Jennifer Aniston was the fans' favorite. NBC's big hit "Friends" had a decade long successful run.

Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller on the 90s hit sitcom, best friend to Jennifer's Rachel Green,  has stayed close friends with Aniston and has been helping to pave the way for the reunion.

The source said "Courteney has been telling Jennifer that she and Matthew Perry have still got that amazing chemistry after shooting just a few scenes with him guest starring on her TV show "Cougar Town." It was as though no time has passed at all.".
