Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend Nicholas Hoult are set to star in 'Equal,' a romantic reboot of  George Orwell's classic '1984.'

The Twilight Saga Girl has already tamed vampires into romantic mush and now Kristen Stewart will make 1984 into a love story. Drake Doremus will focus the filn on the romance between Winston and the rebel Julia, of the Anti-Sex League.
Drake Doremus courted "The Twilight Saga"'s Kristen Stewart and Warm Bodies and X-Men: Days Of Future Past star Nicholas Hoult as the young couple that anchors this science fiction reboot.

Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend, the English actor, Nicholas Hoult, will heat up the screen in "Equals" from the director of "Like Crazy," Drake Doremus. The new Kristen Stewart movie "Equals"' is a romantic adaptation of the George Orwell classic tale of futuristic paranoias and anti-sex, 1984. Kristen Stewart says she's terrified to act with Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

Yes, the girl who tamed a vampire, Kristen Stewart, admitted that she is terrified to begin work on her new film, Equals." Kristen says starring in a movie opposite Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult in a movie from Drake Doremus has made her a nervous wreck. Kristen Stewart beat Jennifer Lawrence to the part.

Stewart describes Equals as an updated version of George Orwell's classic 1949 novel "1984, which happens in a repressed futuristic society where the all-seeing Big Brother watches over everything that takes place. Equals is the first film that Doremus is directing that that he didn't write. It was written by Nathan Parker. "Equals" begins filming later this year.

Stewart says "I can't believe I agreed to do it. I'm terrified of it. Though it's a movie with a really basic concept, it's overtly ambitious. In Equals, things go wrong because you can't deny the humanity in everyone. It's the most devastating story."

Kristen says the reboot changes the focus, slightly. "It's a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion. I'm scared."

"Equals" is Drake Doremus' sixth film. The director said "It's about love in a world where love really doesn't exist anymore."

Stewart said, "I trust Drake's process and I know we will do something really natural and real. But I told Drake, 'Don't expect that I am going to be able to do this. It's too hard.' But he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I've given directors disclaimers before, but never this much."

Doremus said Jennifer Lawrence read for the a part in the film before he went in a different direction. He said "Jen and I worked together before and she was fantastic. It's exciting to talk about the character with different people, but it became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry."

Kristen Stewart told MTV News that she's hung with Lawrence saying "She's so cool. "I was a lot younger than her when I first sort of entered this world of franchise land, and I don't know, I guess we sort of both went, 'Wow, this is so weird.' We were actually sitting in a corner with [Harry Potter star] Emma Watson as well, the three of us. We were like, 'Wow, this is strange. This is really cool.' I think people assume that actresses don't want to [be friends]," Stewart added. "It was kind of a great feeling, to be honest. I was like, 'This is kind of just awesome.'"

This year you can see Kristen Stewart in "Camp X-Ray," "Sils Maria" and "Anesthia."
