Recently, an interesting Pokemon X and Y theory has gained traction online, involving a new region neighboring Kalos and perhaps possible content for a future DLC.

The rumor deals with a name called Village of the Dragons, which has ties to the Pokemon mythos. Recently, a fan posted a theory on Pokejungle of its relation to X and Y.

"When I was playing [Pokemon X] a few days ago, I was talking to an NPC in Lumiose that previously gave me the TM Dragon Tail," writes HeavyMetalLamb. "Talking to him again will tell you that he learned the move Dragon Tail in Village of Dragons. Mind you, when the in-game text capitalizes the beginning of each word, which means it's either an important held item or an important location."

"In the anime, the Village of Dragons is located in Unova, near Opelucid City. In the games, it is stated to be in a remote region far away from Unova."

But what does this have to do with an expansion or DLC for Pokemon X and Y, you ask?

"I think Village of Dragons is in the region neighboring Kalos. What if we take Eevee to this Village and level it up there and it adapts to become the Dragon evolution we've been loving for?!" proclaims HeavyMetalLamb.

Okay, okay, the Dragon evolution of Eevee may be a Pokemon fan's dream, but what HeavyMetalLamb posits is a very interesting rumor about the future of Pokemon X and Y.

For some time now, fans have been picking up on Easter Eggs on what could arrive next for the Pokemon franchise. Anything from a remake of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire to Pokemon Plus and Minus.

But in addition, the length and Pokedex of X and Y also makes fans believe that the generation will receive DLC and expansions in the future, with many guessing that a new region near Kalos could open up.
