Most of idol girl groups have their own stories about the hardship they've gone through to reaching their success. One of it was K-Pop girl group Girl's Day who shared their BTS stories about their group name, rivalry between other K-Pop girl group namely SISTAR and miss A.

On the February 7th installment of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', MC Yoo Hee Yeol guested Girl's Day and asked them, "Your team name is Girl's Day. Do you like this team name? It sounds like a name that was made without much thought." Minah responded, "We are extremely satisfied. When we first came up with the name, Girl's Day..." Sojin revealed the other names they were almost called, "If you think about the other possible names, Girl's Day is the best... Ice Cream... Diamond...." Minah also shared that they were named with days, "Using Monday, Tuesday, etc. in English... Since our name has the word, day, we were going to use [the names] Wednes Sojin, Thurs Minah..." MC Yoo Hee Yeol just pull off a joke saying, "Mon Hyeri sounds good."
When they were being asked about the popularity rates they had which was slow compared to SISTAR and miss A, Sojin shared, "To be honest, we were determined that if we rise slowly, we will feel and learn a lot, but we had a lot of emotional distress. We heard that singers follow their [song] titles. Our debut song is 'Tilt My Head'. But we really tilted our heads as we got pushed back... SISTAR's debut song is 'Push Push', and they really pushed [ahead]. miss A's is 'Bad Girl Good Girl', and they became a 'good girl'."
When it comes to their group's hardship, Yura immediately responded, "Diet. I wanted to eat before too, but I was afraid that my tummy would stick out." When she was asked about food she likes to eat, she shared, "Meat, chicken, and dahk galbi tang [spicy chicken]." Sojin shared, "Should I be really honest? Girl groups should be cute and fresh just when you look at them, but I turn thirty years old in a year." MC Yoo Hee Yeol again joke about it saying, "I thought you looked only around twenty-nine years old." Sojin explained, "I try to make my dongsengs do the cutesy stuff up front, and to follow their energy, I have to try three or four times harder."Lastly, when the girls asked about their dreams, Hyeri shared, "Even after time goes by, we want people to look back on this generation and think, 'This generation was Girl's Day.'" Sojin said, "If you think about that time, it was fin.K.L. Something like that. We want to be that kind of group.
