Lee Jong Suk Recovers Energy And Films First Shoot Of ‘Doctor Stranger’

Lee Jong Suk finally recovered from the flu.

A rep revealed on the 4th that Lee Jong Suk participated in the first filming of SBS' new drama "Doctor Stranger". The rep stated, "Lee Jong Suk has recovered his energy. He's doing his best to participate in filming in the best condition."

The rep continued, "Lee Jong Suk's first filming took place on February 28th. It went reasonably well without too much strain. The outcome will meet the expectation of many." Lee Jong Suk departed from the drama's Hungary location on the 4th.

Before his first filming, Lee Jong Suk attended the 2013 Freshman Year Ceremony at Konkuk University on February 26th and encouraged his fellow school juniors.

A rep from his agency Well Made ENT said, "Lee Jong Suk has restored his health and resumed work. Through his new work he will showcase a different charm than that which he showed in 'I Can Hear Your Voice', As much as he put his all into the work, it will turn out well. We ask for much support."

"Doctor Stranger" is a drama about a genius North Korean doctor working in Korea's top hospital, unable to fit in with the other physicians and living as an alien. In the drama, Lee Jong Suk plays the main lead of the North Korean doctor. He will showcase his fine emotional acting skills.

"Doctor Stranger" is scheduled to air its first episode in April.
