Pokemon X And Y [RUMOR]: Elite Four Statues Foreshadow Kalos Pokedex Additions? Volcanion, Hoopa, Diancie Hint Denied After 'Cocoon Of Destruction' Movie Reveal!

As Pokemon X and Y enters a new phase with the introduction of Diancie, a rumor concerning the statues in the Elite Four chambers is being brought to attention.

When Volcanion, Hoopa, and Diancie were named by a hacker, the first thing people jumped to were the statues in the Elite Four chambers in Pokemon X and Y.

X and Y fans assumed that Diancie is symbolized by the statue with wings, Volcanion resembled something like a coyote, and Hoopa must be the humanoid cloaked figure.

But since the unveiling of the Pokemon X and Y movie, "Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie," and the official confirmation of Diancie as an upcoming Pokemon, fans are less certain of whether the statues have anything to do with the three unreleased Pokemon.

After all, Diancie does not look anything like the statues, nor do Volcanion and Hoopa, for that matter.

"I'm guessing these are the fairies, dogs, and birds for Generation 6?" theorizes Irish33 on Reddit.

"I don't thik these are a part of a trio. I think they're three separate mythical Pokemon we'll see as DLC or Mystery Gifts. If not, then as regular quests in Z," says ItzPrado.

Given that Diancie is all but confirmed to receive a distribution to Pokemon X and Y fans, perhaps the statues foreshadow a way Diancie will be introduced as somehow related to the Elite Four.

What do you think of the statues? Are they simply decorations, or do they signify something more?
