Kurt Cobain Death Note, Case, And Photos To Be Reopened? Authorities Still Seeking Truth Behind Nirvana Singer’s Death?

There are reports circulating that Kurt Cobain's death note and photos will again be sourced for the reopening of his death case. However, authorities from Seattle have denied such claims last Thursday (March 19).

Kurt Cobain's death case reopening first came from Seattle-based radio station KIRO 7. As per the station, policemen will be re-examining the case of Nirvana's lead singer. The station even asked listeners to watch out for further information since the authorities allegedly acquired new photographs related to Kurt Cobain's death which was previously deemed as suicide.

The radio station similarly wrote posts on Twitter about the news that bigger news outfits such as Fox and Gawker eventually picked up the news. Through The Washington Post, a Seattle police representative denied the rumors.

"No, we have not reopened the Kurt Cobain case," said police spokeswoman Detective Renee Witt. As per Detective Witt, an unnamed investigator has been tasked to reexamine case files about Cobain's death because of his death anniversary next month. The investigator reportedly found a roll of undeveloped film which contained photos which have been released already.

"No change, no developments, no new leads," she added. The news is reportedly incorrect for the photos have been released already but not in clear quality.

Cobain died at the age of 27 by a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 8, 1994.  He was found unconscious with a shotgun and suicide note nearby.

"Thank you all from the pit of my burning, nauseous stomach for your letters and concern during the past years. I'm too much of an erratic, moody baby! I don't have the passion anymore, and so remember, it's better to burn out than to fade away," read one of the suicide note's lines.
