In the midst of intense media scrutiny, idol groups 2NE1 and 2PM are filming for the variety show "Running Man."

Photos from filming confirm that 2NE1 members Minzy, Dara, CL, Bom, as well as 2PM members Junho, Jun. K, Nichkhun, Chansung, and Wooyoung are all participating in this episode.

According to YGLadies, filming took place on April 7 outside in Sangam-dong, where 2NE1 and 2PM were split into groups according to their respective agencies to complete missions with the "Running Man" cast.

Reportedly, both 2NE1 and 2PM were spotted walking dogs and running in scuba diving flippers.

The filming caused a huge uproar due to the popularity of both K-pop groups, but in particular due to the presence of Nichkhun and the recent dating news between him and Girls' Generation member Tiffany.

"We were half worried and half congratulatory about it. We also felt bad for the fans as the news became a big deal outside of our album promotions. I hope they look at [the relationship] in a positive light," said Girls' Generation member Sooyoung according to AllKPop.

"As Tiffany and Nichkhun are both representative Hallyu stars, they have been meeting cautiously. It's true they've been close for a long time to the point that they were rumored to be dating since a while ago," said a source to Sports Seoul.

"It seems like since they have both lived in the U.S., they had a lot of similarities and remained close. However, they've only recently progressed into a couple for the past 4 months."

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is busy preparing for the Shanghai stop on their "All or Nothing" world tour. A music video for their follow-up single "Gotta Be You" is also expected to drop this week.
