According to E! News, Jason Derulo and girlfriend Jordin Sparks appear to be cuddling in bed together while posing for a Memorial Day 2014 selfie. The "Marry Me" singer is shirtless and grinning, showing off his shoulder tattoo. Jordin Sparks is also smiling widely, wearing a black tank top and no make-up.

But don't be fooled by their effortless smiles - it took over an hour for the couple to get this Instagram shot!

"This is the end result face that happens when I'm trying to get @jasonderulo to smile! It took an hour!! Lmao! #talksmiletome #smilingismyfavorite," Jordin Sparks wrote on her Instagram pic.

Her boyfriend reposted the same picture and had his own two cents to share about Sparks' photo efforts.

"I'm not in2 smiling 4 pics all the time but @jordinsparks cracked jokes 4 an hr 2 get this pic lol what's wrong with my "mean mug"? #ilowkeydigthispic," Jason Derulo captioned his own Instagram post.

We're not surprised by this bold picture; Jordin recently revealed that she feels happier than ever in her skin after her weight loss over the last year.

Sparks, 24, told Today's Jenna Bush Hager that her weight loss efforts were successful because she made her health a priority, E! News reports.

"I was comfortable with how I looked before, but it was about really focusing on become healthier," Jordin Sparks said. "And then my body changed, which was awesome. But it wasn't about being a size zero, or anything like that."

Through exercise and changing her diet, Jordin lost an incredible 50 pounds in 18 months, according to E! News.

"I fluctuate a bit. I go anywhere from 155 to 161," she said. "There we go! There it is in a box, in a nutshell, right from my mouth. That it is how much I weigh, and I'm okay with it. It feels really good," the 6-foot beauty said with a smile.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Jason Derulo, 24, told Access Hollywood Live that though he isn't engaged to the "American Idol" star, they will get to that point "when the time is right and the stars are aligned perfectly."

Jason admitted that he feels public pressure about getting engaged to Jordin.

"I always have to tell myself to not allow that to interfere in the beauty that we have, and I hope that she knows that as well," he explained.

"What we have is amazing and what we have is forever, so there is no rush," he added.

Jordin, on the other hand, seems to be ready to take that next step sooner than her boyfriend.

"We have forever. I'm already there -- I know he's the one," Sparks said, Life & Style reports. "He might be already planning, I never know. He surprised me with those roses, so I don't know what's up his sleeve. We'll see!"
