50 Cent’s First Pitch At Mets-Pirates Game ‘The Worst Ever?’ Rapper Not Keen On Hearing Criticisms Over His Gig

50 Cent's first pitch at Mets-Pirates game was dubbed the worst ever by an unscientific study conducted by The Washington Post's Wonkblog. Meanwhile, the rapper is not too keen about hearing criticisms over his failed attempt.

"We watched a whole bunch of YouTube pitch videos and plotted them, to the best of our ability, across a strike zone diagram, using the tried-and-true "eyeballin' it" method," Wonkblog's Christopher Ingraham wrote.

The result?

"50 Cent is indeed in a league of his own in terms of his ball's horizontal distance from home plate. It's a bit of a toss-up whether his pitch is farther from the plate than Carly Rae Jepsen's pitch last July, although it's difficult to compare the two since Jepsen's pitch hit the ground about halfway there," he added.

50 Cent's first pitch at Mets-Pirates game was even worse than Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, or even mascots. ("A lack of functional arms didn't stop T-Rex from outperforming the rapper," Wonkblog noted.)

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama (although not by much) also did fairly well compared to 50 Cent's first pitch at Mets-Pirates game. George W. Bush and Snoop Dogg nailed their respective pitches.

But Yahoo! Sports' Mike Oz said this is all subjective: "Sporty folks say John Wall's is the worst, because he's a pro athlete and should be able to do better. People who hate Barack Obama will vow his is the worst and won't hear otherwise - even though it wasn't that bad."

"We know it's totally subjective," he wrote.

However, 50 Cent posted a video on his Instagram along with the caption: "I'm a hustler not a Damn ball player."

"Don't talk about my pitch," he said then cursing the critics.

The rapper then posted a video of his pitch, per NY Post: "The [expletive] almost hit the cameraman damn, if you look close you can see them moving the plate. Lol."
