Girl Group KARA Holds Successful Japan Fan Meeting Before Comeback This August

Girl group KARA held their "Join Us! KAMILIA ADVENTURE" fan meeting on June 1 in Tokyo Budokan. The group was greeted by 15,000 of their fans.

The idol group held two fan meetings, as this is their first promotion in Japan since their Japan arena tour last November. Although KARA hadn't done any promotions in a long time, tickets for their fan meeting sold out almost instantly.

"It has been too long since we've been back here. We thought it would be best to communicate and see our fans in person through a fan meeting," stated the members of the group.

KARA not only held solo performances on stage, but also held fun events for their fans.

The currently three-member group will be making a comeback in Korea this August.

KARA held their "2014 Kamilia Day Fan Meeting" on May 24 at the Samsung Card Hall in Blue Square, Hannamdong, Seoul as well.

During their fan meeting in Korea, the remaining members of the group, Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon and Goo Hara expressed their feelings about the process of searching for new members for their group, according to Allkpop.

"It's frustrating and I don't like that there are things that I want to say but I cannot say on broadcast. . .  I just hope that you believe in the three of us. No matter what anyone else says, that is not important. . .  We are doing our best. . .  We think we found the best solution to not disappoint you all anymore. Please trust us and wait for us a bit longer," stated Gyuri.

Fellow group member Seungyeon added, "I feel the same way as Gyuri. . .  Prior to coming here, I should have organized what I was going to say by writing it out but I didn't know what to say after thinking about it for a couple days."

She continued, "I am very sorry that I cannot say it refreshingly. . . I really had a lot of anxiety this year but because I have been consistently working, I don't know if I was running away from the problem or not. . . There were a lot of people who I had to part with unwillingly this year so I was very lonely.  It hurts so much."

Hara shared the same sentiment, stating, "I feel the same way as my unnis. I have faith that you all know how we're feeling very well. . . I promised my unnis that I wouldn't cry but after seeing your faces, I can't control myself well."

The youngest member of the group concluded, "I thought about what I should say confidently without crying while looking at your faces, but nothing comes to mind at the moment. I'm just happy that I get to see you in a long time."
